Codex Alimentarius - Dare you ignore it?

http://www.natural-health-information-centre.com/codex-alimentarius.html

More and more people are becoming concerned about the shady, secretive organization that is Codex Alimentarius - the thinly-veiled propaganda arm of the international pharmaceutical industry that does everything it can to promote industry objectives whilst limiting individual options to maintain health (which would diminish members profits).

Ruby Ridge Documentary: The Legend of Randy Weaver

Ruby Ridge: The Justice Report

By James Bovard

The 1992 confrontation between federal agents and the Randy Weaver family in Ruby Ridge, Idaho, has become one of the most controversial and widely discussed examples of the abuse of federal power. The Justice Department completed a 542-page investigation on the case last year but has not yet made the report public. However, the report was acquired by Legal Times newspaper, which this week placed the text on the Internet. The report reveals that federal officials may have acted worse than even some of their harshest critics imagined.

This case began after Randy Weaver was entrapped, as an Idaho jury concluded, by an undercover Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agent to sell him sawed-off shotguns.

While federal officials have claimed that the violent confrontation between the Weavers and the government began when the Weavers ambushed federal marshals, the report tells a very different story. A team of six U.S. marshals, split into two groups, trespassed onto Mr. Weaver's land on Aug. 21, 1992. One of the marshals threw rocks at the Weaver's cabin to see how much noise was required to agitate the Weaver's dogs. A few minutes later, Randy Weaver, Kevin Harris, and 13-year-old Sammy Weaver came out of the cabin and began following their dogs. Three U.S. marshals were soon tearing through the woods.

At one point, U.S. Marshal Larry Cooper "told the others that it was ['expletive deleted'] for them to continue running and that he did not want to 'run down the trail and get shot in the back.' He urged them to take up defensive positions. The others agreed.... William Degan ... took a position behind a stump...."

As Sammy Weaver and Kevin Harris came upon the marshals, gunfire erupted. Sammy was shot in the back and killed while running away from the scene (probably by Marshal Cooper, according to the report), and Marshal Degan was killed by Mr. Harris. The jury concluded that Mr. Harris's action was legitimate self-defense; the Justice report concluded it was impossible to know who shot first.

Several places in the report deal with the possibility of a government coverup. After the firefight between the marshals and the Weavers and Mr. Harris, the surviving marshals were taken away to rest and recuperate. The report observed, "We question the wisdom of keeping the marshals together at the condominium for several hours, while awaiting interviews with the FBI. Isolating them in that manner created the appearance and generated allegations that they were fabricating stories and colluding to cover up the true circumstances of the shootings."

After the death of the U.S. marshal, the FBI was called in. A source of continuing fierce debate across America is: Did the FBI set out to apprehend and arrest Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris -- or simply to kill them? Unfortunately, the evidence from the Justice Department report is damning in the extreme on this count.

The report noted, "We have been told by observers on the scene that law enforcement personnel made statements that the matter would be handled quickly and that the situation would be 'taken down hard and fast.' " The FBI issued Rules of Engagement that declared that its snipers "can and should" use deadly force against armed males outside the cabin.

The report noted that a member of an FBI SWAT team from Denver "remembered the Rules of Engagement as 'if you see 'em, shoot 'em.' " The task force report noted, "since those Rules which contained 'should' remained in force at the crisis scene for days after the August 22 shooting, it is inconceivable to us that FBI Headquarters remained ignorant of the exact wording of the Rules of Engagement during that entire period."

The report concluded that the FBI Rules of Engagement at Ruby Ridge flagrantly violated the U.S. Constitution: "The Constitution allows no person to become 'fair game' for deadly force without law enforcement evaluating the threat that person poses, even when, as occurred here, the evaluation must be made in a split second." The report portrays the rules of engagement as practically a license to kill: "The Constitution places the decision on whether to use deadly force on the individual agent; the Rules attempted to usurp this responsibility."

FBI headquarters rejected an initial operation plan because there was no provision to even attempt to negotiate the surrender of the suspects. The plan was revised to include a negotiation provision -- but subsequent FBI action made that provision a nullity. FBI snipers took their positions around the Weaver cabin a few minutes after 5 p.m. on Aug. 22. Within an hour, every adult in the cabin was either dead or severely wounded -- even though they had not fired a shot at any FBI agent.

Randy Weaver, Mr. Harris, and 16-year-old Sara Weaver stepped out of the cabin a few minutes before 6 p.m. to go to the shed where Sammy's body lay. FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi shot Randy Weaver in the back. As Randy Weaver, Mr. Harris, and Sara Weaver struggled to get back into the cabin, Vicki Weaver stood in the cabin doorway holding a baby. Agent Horiuchi fired again; his bullet passed through a window in the door, hit Vicki Weaver in the head, killing her instantly, and then hit Mr. Harris in the chest.

At the subsequent trial, the government claimed that Messrs. Weaver and Harris were shot because they had threatened to shoot at a helicopter containing FBI officials. Because of insufficient evidence, the federal judge threw out the charge that Messrs. Weaver and Harris threatened the helicopter. The Justice report noted, "The SIOC [Strategic Information and Operations Center at FBI headquarters] Log indicates that shots were fired during the events of August 22.... We have found no evidence during this inquiry that shots fired at any helicopter during the Ruby Ridge crisis. The erroneous entry was never corrected." (The Idaho jury found Messrs. Weaver and Harris innocent on almost all charges.)

The Justice Department task force expressed grave doubts about the wisdom of the FBI strategy: "From information received at the Marshals Service, FBI management had reason to believe that the Weaver/Harris group would respond to a helicopter in the vicinity of the cabin by coming outside with firearms. Notwithstanding this knowledge, they placed sniper/observers on the adjacent mountainside with instructions that they could and should shoot armed members of the group, if they came out of the cabin. Their use of the helicopter near the cabin invited an accusation that the helicopter was intentionally used to draw the Weaver group out of the cabin."

The task force was extremely critical of Agent Horiuchi's second shot: "Since the exchange of gunfire [the previous day], no one at the cabin had fired a shot. Indeed, they had not even returned fire in response to Horiuchi's first shot. Furthermore, at the time of the second shot, Harris and others outside the cabin were retreating, not attacking. They were not retreating to an area where they would present a danger to the public at large...."

Regarding Agent Horiuchi's killing of Vicki Weaver, the task force concluded, "[B]y fixing his cross hairs on the door when he believed someone was behind it, he placed the children and Vicki Weaver at risk, in violation of even the special Rules of Engagement.... In our opinion he needlessly and unjustifiably endangered the persons whom he thought might be behind the door."

The Justice Department task force was especially appalled that the adults were gunned down before receiving any warning or demand to surrender: "While the operational plan included a provision for a surrender demand, that demand was not made until after the shootings.... The lack of a planned 'call out' as the sniper/observers deployed is significant because the Weavers were known to leave the cabin armed when vehicles or airplanes approached. The absence of such a plan subjected the Government to charges that it was setting Weaver up for attack."

The Truth Behind the IRS and Income Taxes

I am posting this thread because there is a large misconception regarding the Income Tax. To start I would like everyone to grab a Social Security Card that has been issued and signed. Turn the card over and read the back of the card. It clearly states that "This card is the property of the Social Security Administration." It also says that it must returned to the SSA when requested. In order to activate the card it must either be signed or the number used.

In law, what was just created is known as a trust. A trust is defined as "a property interest held by one person for the benefit of another" Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary (2009). In this particular case the piece of property is the card also known as the trust. In a trust agreement there is a trustee(s) and a beneficiary(s). In the relationship created by this particular trust you and only you have the capacity to act as trustee. Corp. U.S. creator of the SSA, is the beneficiary to the agreement.

Now on to the taxes. According to the Internal Revenue Code who owes taxes? The answer is, a taxpayer. Now who is a taxpayer? Can you guess? A taxpayer is a legal entity with a Tax Identification Number. All corporations have TINs and so do the Social Security Administration created trusts, which is the Social Security Number. Now really think about what is going on here. What number did you use when you applied for a job? What number did you use when you applied for a driver's license? If the answer is the Social Security created trust number then you were acting in the capacity of trustee for the benefit of Corp. U.S. What number did you use to register to vote? The tax identification number. Corp. U.S. only has the ability to collect taxes from its agencies, franchisees, etc. Bank accounts are also opened with these numbers. So who's account is it really? Sorry, but the truth is it is the taxpayer's account. Unfortunately, the majority of people have been ignorantly acting in the capacitee of trustee and have forgotten how to carry out private contracts not subject to the taxation of Corp. U.S.

One of the largest problems in the patriot movement is that Corp. U.S. is mistaken for the original jurisdiction government. I will outline the basics of how Corp. U.S. came to be. During the civil war, President Lincoln enacted Martial Law, which has not yet since been repealed. The government was financially in trouble and needed to act fast. The action that was taken was the creation of a corporation to carry out the business needs of the Government. The Organic Act of 1871 creates this corporation known as Corp. U.S. As all corporations need charters, what better charter to adopt than the Constitution. Corp. U.S. adopted the Constitution of the United States of America as the corporate charter making it nearly impossible to distinguish from the Original Jurisdiction Government. The seats to Corp. U.S. were filled and eventually the oj government seats became vacant.

In the the Bretton Woods Agreements, Corp. U.S. was quitclaimed to the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. The original jurisdiction government surely had no authority to do such a thing, which can only mean that it was the corporation. Corp. U.S. is not a government but rather a foreign controlled corporation that rules through contractual agreements created with the taxpayer. Fortunately, if you learn the law through self study you can reclaim your stewardship here on earth and take dominion over your land and property.

This was just a basic outline to get people interested in learning the truth in fact and law rather than trust third party sources. In order to do this it is necessary to learn the law for yourself in order to apply it. How can one act sovereign if he/she does not know the law in order to apply it. This is a Constitutional Republic, which is ruled by law. The reason we have lost our country is because of our own ignorance of the facts in law and our history.

To find out the truth from the facts in law (original documents or copies thereof) please vist teamlaw.org and click on patriot mythology. Scroll down and read patriot myth 22 to discover the truth so you can be effective in reclaiming this Constitutional Republic.

Platform for Liberty: An Agenda for Legislative Action

For the full article click the link http://restoretherepublic.areomail.com/files/PlatformForLiberty%28PublicInfoVersion%29.pdf

We, the People of the United States, over-burdened, over-regulated and over-taxed by both state and federal governments, hereby offer to our respective state legislative Assemblies and local officials a plan we have developed for the restoration of liberty within these States of our American Union. We expect public servants to, in fact, represent us. These are our wishes. All other business of our respective States and communities notwithstanding, this Platform for Liberty is to receive top
priority. This platform may be adopted, and/or endorsed, by both existing elected officials, and candidates for elective office in upcoming local, state and national political campaigns. The expectation is that those sworn to uphold the respective state and federal constitutions will act accordingly. Those who do not appropriately represent both the people and their respective constitutions will be replaced, at our first electoral opportunity, with someone who will.

The Republic Magazine

http://www.republicmagazine.com/

There are few dates in history that resonate so loudly they alter the course of it. For the past two thousand years calendars were set by the birth of Christ. The terms “Anno Domini” (AD) and “Before Christ” (BC) became the global dating system. The life
and work of Jesus Christ altered the course of global history and resulted in a vast belief system and lifestyle followed by billions on Earth. Fast forward 2001 years 9 months and 11 days since the recorded birth of Christ and we find ourselves at another date that diverted the course of history. The events that transpired on September 11th, 2001 have resulted in new terms and beliefs that echo from the mouths of politicians and media brass. We are constantly reminded that we live in a post-9/11 world and that we must have faith in the official 9/11 account passed down from our Government. The actions on that fateful day have impacted the
entire globe. The deaths of US Troops and innocent civilians have now superseded the lives lost on 9/11. Removing our shoes and discarding toothpaste at airports and warrantless wiretapping of all Americans has become the measure to “ensure our safety”. How do we undo this madness? How do we get back, not to 9/12 where we were scared and looking to the Government for answers, but to 9/10 where the Patriot Act and Real ID were mere dreams? The answer is simple but you must be ready to accept
it. First, we must understand what really happened on 9/11 and second, we must prosecute the real terrorists who planned and executed the controlled demolition of our Republic. Let our 16th issue of Republic Magazine be the doorway as you walk the path exploring the facts, science and truth about the date that split time into a pre and post 9/11 world.

The Dot Connector Magazine

http://www.thedotconnector.org/mag/

Something is wrong with this world... But you know that! You always knew it, otherwise you wouldn't be reading these lines. You knew something was wrong, and you wanted to know what exactly. Press, television, and then internet, never lacked explanations, analyses, indications, telling you that the System is damaged, that there are elements to replace, to repair, to improve. And they have been replaced, and repaired, and improved. Over and over again. Over and over — in vain... OK, nothing's perfect, you used to say. But one day you noticed something strange: the System improved, but — not the world. That was the day you saw that the System and the world are not the same thing. That was the day you woke up.
You have woken up, but still cannot see what exactly is wrong with the world. Because nothing has ever been wrong with the real world. What's wrong is the virtual world, like the wool pulled over your eyes by the System to blind you. The more you invest yourself, your forces and talents, into repairing and improving that virtual world — the more you improve the System, the more you help it to better blind and enslave you.
The System is not a kind of divine superpower. It is neither above you nor elsewhere outside of you — it is inside ... well, not of you, but of what it made you believe you are. It made you believe your body is all there is of you here, in this world. "Which world?" you may ask. We hope you do! Because the System is right: in its virtual, blinding, enslaving, fake world you are nothing but flesh and bones. But in the real world you are infinitely more than that! Not a mortal human, but an immortal Universal being.
Look, it's just logical. As human beings, we need a spacesuit to stay alive outside our planet. As Universal beings, we need a similar sort of "earthsuit" to experience a journey called "life" on the planet Earth. Our bodies are such "earthsuits".
As any example, this comparison is rough and limited, but it still shows the distance between feeling the false (waking up) and becoming aware of what's true. What's true is that there is no more difference between you and the world around you than between a single drop of water in the ocean and the ocean itself as a whole.
An even better example would be that of a hologram. Most of you know what one is. No matter how many parts a holographic picture is broken into, even the smallest part of it will still contain the whole picture down to the smallest detail. It's as if every page of every book in every library in the world contained all the pages of all the books of all libraries.
What does it all have to do with the System, the Illuminati, the New World Order, wars, politics and you? Absolutely everything. Not only such a "holographic" vision of the world and of ourselves allows us to see what is called "the Big Picture", it allows to recognize this Big Picture in every smallest "dot" of it, however insignificant and separate from other "dots" it might seem, and to see your reflection in it.
So, since you've woken up, it's time to hit the road. We don't promise this road to be an easy one. We don't promise you'll appreciate every step of it. We just promise this road will lead you to the truth.

Constitutional Candidates for Congress

http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/politics/2274-constitutional-candidates-for-congress

As recently as two years ago, Congressman Ron Paul introduced a bill to audit the Federal Reserve Bank that headed to oblivion. Year after year — beginning in 1983 — the bill never even won a committee hearing. Dr. Paul was ignored in Washington, and was a lonely voice for freedom back in his Texas congressional district.

Times have changed. Ron Paul is on a political roll. The bill Dr. Paul introduced in the current Congress to audit the Federal Reserve Bank (H.R. 1207) has more than 300 cosponsors — including every House Republican and more than 100 Democrats — and the backing of House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank. Frank has promised a committee vote, and it has a better-than-average chance of House passage this year. Dr. Paul’s new book End the Fed sailed into the top twenty of Amazon.com’s sales figures more than a month before it was available. It debuted on both Amazon.com and New York Times bestseller lists, and sales remain strong even today. His old presidential campaign has rolled over into a “Campaign for Liberty” that has raised more than $4 million since its founding in February of this year.

Make the Medicine, Hemp Oil

http://www.phoenixtears.ca/make.php

Throughout man's history hemp has always been known as the most medicinal plant in the world. Even with this knowledge hemp has always been used as a political and religious football.

The current restrictions against hemp were put in place and maintained, not because hemp is evil or harmful, but for big money to make more big money, while we suffer and die needlessly. Look at a proposal such as this; if we were allowed to grow hemp in our back yards and cure our own illnesses, what do you think the reaction of the pharmaceutical industry would be to such a plan? Many large pharmaceutical companies that still exist today sold hemp based medicines in the 1800's and early 1900's. They knew then what I have recently found out. Hemp oil if produced properly is a cure-all that the pharmaceutical industry can't patent.

The Loneliest Organısm on Earth

"In the hot, dark water of a South African mine, scientists have found the world’s loneliest species.

Everywhere else biologists have studied life on our planet, they’ve found communities of life, but today, biologists announced they have discovered an ecosystem that contains just a single species of bacteria.

In all other known ecosystems, the key functions of life — harvesting energy and elements like carbon and nitrogen from the environment — have been shared among different species. But in the water of the Mponeng gold mine, two miles under the earth’s surface, Desulforudis audaxviator carries out all of those functions by itself. In short, it’s the tidiest package of life found yet."

Where is our Republic??

http://simplyannoyed.wordpress.com/2007/06/21/where%E2%80%99s-the-republic/

Republic vs. Democracy

Rule by Law or Mob Rule

We Can’t Be Both

Benjamin Rush said on the ratification of the Constitution on July 9, 1788 “Tis done, we have become a nation.” And just after the completion and signing of the Constitution, Benjamin Franklin replied to a woman’s inquiry as to the type of government the Founders had created, “A Republic, if you can keep it.”

Sorry Ben, we have failed to keep it.

Not only could we not keep it, most people do not even know what kind government the Founding Fathers created.

* A Republic is representative government ruled by law (the Constitution).
* A democracy is direct government ruled by the majority (mob rule).
A Republic preserves the inalienable rights of individuals while democracies pander to wants or needs (sustenance of power).

Connecting the Dots on the Ultimate Money Making Machine of ALL TIME... The 16th Amendment and The Federal Reserve System

The Federal Reserve System has faced a considerable amount of opposition over the course of its existence. The first debates primarily regarded its constitutionality, private ownership of a central bank, and the degree to which the economy should be centrally planned, with luminaries such as Thomas Jefferson and James Madison being some of the first central bank detractors. As the effects of the Federal Reserve System became more apparent, new criticisms began to emerge, such as complaints about: inflation, transparency and employment. Critics of the Fed come from a variety of sources, ranging from amateur conspiracy theorists to main stream economists. Some speculate that the complexity of the Federal Reserve has led to erroneous accusations by the uninformed.

Perhaps the most accepted criticism regards the Fed's role in the Great depression. The theory that the Fed was the primary cause of the depression was first proposed by economists Milton Friedman and Ann J. Schwartz and later adopted by numerous others, including the current Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke. In loose terms, the criticism is that the Fed's failure to increase the money supply and save small banks, which were in threat because of bank runs, from failing ultimately turned what would have been a relatively mild recession into the catastrophe of the 1930s. A less accepted view among economists is that the Fed kept interest rates too low in the 1920s resulting in the exorbitant stock prices of 1929, which inevitably had to deflate.

There has been considerable debate over a lack of transparency as to what is discussed in Federal Open Market Committee meetings. Since the FOMC sets monetary policy, which affects the entire U.S. economy, many people feel that it is important to know what the FOMC is doing.

The heterodox Austrian School, holds that the Federal Reserve's control of interest rates is an unnecessary and counterproductive interference in the economy. According to this theory, rates should be naturally low during times of excessive consumer saving (because lendable money is abundant) and naturally high when high net volumes of consumer credit are extended (because lendable money is scarce). These critics argue that setting a baseline lending rate amounts to centralized economic planning, and inflating the currency amounts to a regressive, incremental redistribution of wealth.

Others state that the Federal Reserve System supports fractional-reserve banking, which they claim resembles an unsustainable pyramid scheme. According to the Austrian Business Cycle Theory, a fiat money system is unsustainable, because the money supply must expand exponentially in order for all loans to be paid back with interest.. This theory is dismissed among some mainstream economists and contradicts some evidence from mainstream economic studies about business cycles.

A major area of criticism focuses on the failure of the Federal Reserve System to stop inflation; this is seen as a failure of the Fed's legislatively mandated duty to maintain stable prices. These critics focus particularly on inflation's effects on wages, since workers are hurt if their wages do not keep up with inflation. They point out that wages, as adjusted for inflation, or real wages, have sometimes gone down (such as at the end of 2004). Milton Friedman alleged that the Fed caused the high inflation of the 1970s. When asked about the greatest economic problem of the day, he said the most pressing was how to get rid of the Federal Reserve.[140] In April of 2009 former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker criticized Fed's notion that a roughly 2% inflation rate is consistent with promotion of price stability, noting that with 2% inflation rate people in a generation are going to be losing half their purchasing power. United States Congressman Ron Paul, ranking member of the Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy (of the House Banking Committee), has also criticized Federal Reserve policy for creating and downplaying excessive inflation.

One of the first criticisms of the private nature of the Federal Reserve system was Charles August Lindbergh who criticized the problem of private banks working against the best interests of the citizens: "The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board administers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money."

The Federal Reserve Act (ch. 6, 38 Stat. 251, enacted December 23, 1913, 12 U.S.C. ch.3) is the act of Congress that created the Federal Reserve System, the central banking system of the United States of America, which was signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson.

The Sixteenth Amendment
(Amendment XVI) to the United States Constitution allows the Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on Census results. This amendment overruled Pollock v. Farmers' Loan & Trust Co. (1895), which greatly limited the Congress' authority to levy an income tax.

It was "ratified" on February 3, 1913.

How to separate gold from concentrates

The simplest and cheapest way for the amateur prospector/miner to retrieve the fine gold from the concentrates can be done in 6 simple steps.

1. Cleaning: Place some concentrates into a plastic gold pan, (about half full), and cover the concentrates with water. Add one tablespoon of household lye to the concentrates and swirl it around for several minutes. This will remove surface impurities such as dirt and oils from the gold.

2. Pour off the lye laden water and add fresh water to it, and add one ounce of mercury.

*** WARNING!!! WHEN USING LYE YOU SHOULD WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND RUBBER GLOVES TO AVOID GETTING ANY IN YOUR EYES OR ON YOUR SKIN. WHEN USING MERCURY, USE THE SAME PRECAUTIONS. IN BOTH CASES DO NOT INHALE ANY OF THE FUMES!!! ALWAYS WORK OUTSIDE AND UPWIND.

3. Slowly swirl the contents with the mercury. As the mercury goes around the pan it will pick up all the finest gold in the pan. The more gold there is the stiffer the mercury becomes.

4. Once you have all the gold gathered, pan off the black sands or use a magnet in a plastic baggie to retrieve the black sands, leaving only the gold laden mercury and free mercury. The free mercury will roll around easily where the gold laden mercury is stiff and does not toll well. Place your mercury container INSIDE another gold pan and pour off the free mercury into the container. Using another pan keeps it from spilling out onto the floor or ground. If you spill mercury on the floor or God forbid, the living room carpet, you will be inhaling evaporating fumes for years!

5. Once you have a stiff ball of gold laden mercury in the plastic pan flush it out into a glass measuring cup. To this add a few drops of nitric acid Keep adding nitric acid until you get a bubbling or fizzing action from the mercury. !!! DO NOT BREATH THE FUMES !!! The acid will dissolve the mercury as well as any trace silver. After awhile the fizzing stops and at the bottom of your cup is a bronze colored metallic looking blob.... It's GOLD!

You can recover your mercury from the nitric acid by placing a flat copper bar or copper sheet into the acid and letting it set overnight. The next day the mercury will have come out of solution and attached itself to the copper now you can scrape the mercury from the copper and put it back into your storage container.

6. Carefully pour off the remaining liquid and neutralize the acid with baking soda, a little at a time until you get no reaction from the acid and soda. Gently rinse the gold in the cup with fresh water avoiding hard sprays that could rinse away your gold. Pour off the water and let dry. The remainder is your pure gold! (actually 95% - -98% pure)

Drying Foods

Drying Foods (Instruction chart in link at the bottom)

Drying or dehydration, the oldest method of food preservation, is particularly successful in the hot, dry climates found in much of New Mexico. Quite simply, drying reduces moisture necessary for bacterial growth that eventually causes deterioration.

Successful dehydration depends upon a slow steady heat supply to assure that food is dried from the inside to the outside. Drying is also an inexact art. Size of pieces, relative moisture, and the method selected all affect the time required to dehydrate a food adequately.
Methods of Drying

Foods may be sun dried with or without a solar dehydrator, in a gas or electric oven, or with a portable electric dehydrator. Dehydrators with thermostats provide better control over poor weather conditions and food quality than sun drying.

An effective solar dehydrator is the shelf above the back seat of a car. Clotheslines are another popular drying rack for ears of corn and strips of jerky. Colorful red chile ristras hung from vigas are practical as well as decorative.

The Money Masters

Fractional Reserve System Crash Course

Here is one of my biggest topics of research in the last couple months... the monetary fractional reserve system. Read the following crash course by Chris Martenson at http://www.chrismartenson.com/crashcourse/chapter-18-environmental-data. I have highlighted the chapter on Environment as this is what I studied in Univeristy and my life currently revolves around.

"Here’s an example. When we first came to this country, we were finding some pretty spectacular things just lying around, like this copper nugget. Soon those were all gone, and then we were onto smaller nuggets, and then onto copper ores that had the highest concentrations. Now?

Now we have things like the Bingham canyon mine in Utah. It is two and a half miles across and three-fourths of a mile deep, and it started out as a mountain. It sports a final ore concentration of 0.2%. Do you think we’d have gone to this effort if there were still massive copper nuggets lying around in stream beds? No way.

Let’s take a closer look. See that truck way down there? It’s fueled by petroleum; diesel, specifically. If we couldn’t spare the fuel to run that truck, what do you suppose we’d carry the ore out with? Donkeys? These trucks carry 255 tons/ per load. Suppose a donkey could carry 150 lbs. This means this truck carries the same in a single load as 3,400 donkeys. That’s quite a lot of donkeys.

My point here is that a hole in the ground a couple miles across and three fourths of a mile deep is a pretty spectacular display of the use of energy. When energy begins to get scarce, it seems unlikely to me that we’ll be digging too many more holes like it, which means copper will become scarce.

Now here’s where the concept gets interesting. The amount of energy and money that is required to extract any mineral or metal is a function of the ore grade. We would measure that as the percent of the ore that consists of the desired substance. So a 10% copper ore, for example, would consist of 10% copper and 90%, uh, other stuff. Like rock or something. If we plot out how much other stuff we have to extract and then dispose of in pursuit of our desired substance, we get a chart that looks like this. Look familiar to you yet? It should; it’s an exponential chart.

It tells us that if we had an ore body with only 0.2% copper in it, we’d need to mine 500 pounds of ore in order to extract one pound of copper. I used this particular value because that happens to be the concentration of the Bingham Canyon mine. This helps to explain why this hole is so big. It tells us that without these giant trucks, we probably wouldn’t be mining such low ore grades. It means that we are already on the far right edge of this bell curve, in terms of energy and cost.

Do we do this because we like the challenge of low ore grades? No, we do it because we’ve already high-graded all the other known ore bodies, and this is what we are down to. We do it because it is the best option left. We do it because, in only 200 years, we’ve already burned through all the better grades. "

For more info on this subject watch; Zeitgeist: Addendum, www.IOUSAmovie.com or research our FIAT monetary system. Mind blowing stuff.

47 Million Year Old Monkey Missing Link in Monkey Human Evolution

The contrast between these articles is incrdible!

BBC News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8057465.stm

"In addition, Ida bears "a close resemblance to ourselves" he said, with nails instead of claws, a grasping hand and an opposable thumb - like humans and some other primates. But he said some aspects of the teeth indicate she is not a direct ancestor - more of an "aunt" than a "grandmother"."

"While all this is fine, it is also an equally interesting coincidence that Ida was discovered within a ‘volcanic lake’ and was preserved by an ‘unknown force’ because such descriptors blatantly match the profile of Satan.

Hell is the most volcanic lake in existence and Satan is well known for his interest in paleontology, as it begets the Lies of Evolution."

The next Web of open, linked data: Tim Berners-Lee on TED.com

Remembering the Day the World Wide Web Was Born

Twenty years ago this month, a software consultant named Tim Berners-Lee at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (better known as CERN) hatched a plan for an open computer network to keep track of research at the particle physics laboratory in the suburbs of Geneva, Switzerland. Berners-Lee's modestly titled "Information Management: A Proposal," which he submitted to get a CERN grant, would become the blueprint for the World Wide Web.

Understanding the Financial Crisis in 59 min

http://www.thisamericanlife.org/Radio_Episode.aspx?episode=375

"The collapse of the banking system explained, in just 59 minutes. Our crack economics team—the guys who explained the mortgage crisis, Alex Blumberg and NPR’s Adam Davidson—are back to help all of us understand the news. For instance, when we talk about an insolvent bank, what does it actually mean, and why are we giving hundreds of billions of dollars to rich bankers who screwed up their own businesses? Also, two guys go to New Jersey to look at a toxic asset."

Course Series Overview

Survival, to Grandfather and to me, is a philosophy unto itself. With years of living close to the earth, without the umbilical cord of society, I understand a certain "oneness" that only knowledge of suvival can bring. When I think of modern man entering the wilderness, I see a scenario much like an astronaut landing on the moon. So also when man enters the woods. He carries with him his backpack full of provisions, a sort of lifeline back to society. Both the man on the moon and the man in the woods are severely dependent on that lifeline; life without it would mean certain death. There is also a further insulation from the earth by heavy clothing and shoes, outer garments and tents; all to "protect" man from the spleindid forces of nature. And their fears of being separated from the lifeline, whether conscious or not, keeps them close to the burdens of life. Survival is more than just and insurance policy. With the practice of survival one begins to relax into the earth, to learn its rhythms, to blend in balance and harmony with all things.
